2017-2018:
VRC In the Zone
About the Game:
Game Description:
In VRC In the zone, points are scored by stacking cones on posts and mobile bases, moving mobile bases into zones, and parking on squares at the end of a match. A match starts with a 15 second autonomous period, where robots run pre-coded programs, without drivers. This is followed by a 1:45 driver control period.
About Our Robot:
Our 2017-2018 robot, LOL66 2.0, stack cones on stationary and mobile bases, and then deposit mobile bases in the far zone. The robot could pick a mobile base on the back, and then pick up cones on the front and deposit them on the mobile goal. Then, the stack could be deposited into zones.
